SDSN Hong Kong is pleased to announce the release of the Chinese version of the ‘Net Zero on Campus’ guide. This significant achievement was made possible through the dedicated translation efforts of the students and staff from the Department of Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong with the guidance of Professor XU Yuan from the Department of Geography and Resource Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, who served as an advisor.
The Chinese version of the guide aims to promote sustainable practices and assist universities across Greater China in achieving their net zero goals. It compiles lessons and resources from the decarbonization journeys of academic institutions worldwide and highlights practical campus initiatives across six key areas: Energy, Mobility, Facilities, Waste Minimization and Recycling, Value Chain, and Beyond Campus Operations.
