Who We Are

Young people make up nearly half of the world’s population, and they are the ideal agents to be at the forefront of the sustainable development movement. Launched in 2015, SDSN Youth is one of the world's biggest networks of young leaders working together to accelerate solutions towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programme aimed at leveraging youths' power to shape a more sustainable world for future generations through education and resources. Youths can connect, collaborate and exchange ideas through Global Youth Programs and Regional/National Networks to amplify the impact on the global community. |
What We Do

1. SDG Student Program A global network of student hubs of learning and engagements for the SDGs and to build solutions for solving local sustainability issues. SDG Student Hubs are institution-based, and each is led by an SDG Coordinator. The hubs will work to spread the message of SDGs to all staff and students of the institution and create pathways to take action in the university community. |

2. Seminars Networks of SDSN Youth run regular seminars for discussion and knowledge exchange on issues around the SDGs. The seminars aim to equip youths with knowledge of particular SDGs, to highlight youths’ role in addressing the issues, and to create pathways for them to act. |
3. Other Events The network runs events to engage youths in serving the community as they learn about the SDGs and to collaborate with others in making an impact. Example of past events include plogging along the hiking trails and climate simulation workshops. |
Be A Part of The Change
Are you a current tertiary student and willing to lead others in implementing SDG campaigns on your campus? Join as an SDG Coordinator to generate ideas with the hub members. The application opens in May every year.
Youth-led and youth-focused organisations can be part of the change by joining as Member Organisations. You will gain access to wide range of resources and events on an international scale and benefit from peer-to-peer learning. The application opens throughout the year and applications are processed quarterly. Find more details here.
