Sport carries a social dimension and provides the opportunity to work directly with different community members to improve lives and contribute to social changes. On the other hand, physical exercise brings about improvements in physical and mental health and provides social benefits. In this webinar, we will explore how sport and physical exercise can contribute to an equitable society and discuss the barriers and solutions with a focus to improve health and reduce inequalities in Hong Kong. Free admission, all are welcome. Online reservation: Webinar: Sport, Exercise and Equity is co-organized by CUHK Department of Sports Science and Physical Education, CUHK Institute of Health Equity, Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Office, CUHK and the Hong Kong chapter of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN Hong Kong). |
