Calling passionate youths to join The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Hong Kong Association Green Citizens Youth Ambassador(GCYA), to advocate for sustainable development. Be part of the global voice for local actors of change.
Eligibility

Aged 18 to 30 year-old, living in Hong Kong, fluent in English and Cantonese |
Opportunities
|
Exposure to international conferences, delivering keynote speeches at global events, networking with industry experts, participating in field trips, hosting educational events for publicity purposes, and more |
Commitment requirements
|
GCYA are required to participate in at least 3 projects / activities / events organized by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association throughout the 1-year term. GCYA should support UHKA’s event by helping with promotions and propagation of messages to the public, actively participate in or initiate projects / activities / events related to the SDGs and report relevant contributions. |

The UNESCO Hong Kong Association (UHKA) Green Citizens Youth Ambassador project was launched in 2021, in response to the initiation of the global project “UNESCO Green Citizens”. Participating youths will have the opportunity to gain experience, share their unique perspectives, expand their networks and influence the communities globally, nationally and locally.
