The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) together with SDSN Hong Kong successfully hosted the SDSN Thailand University Sustainability Study Tour 2024 from 5 to 6 December 2024. SDSN Thailand brought 29 high-ranking representatives from 14 Thai universities for a study tour at CUHK focused on sustainability in higher education.
The theme of the study tour was ‘Advancing Sustainable Development in Higher Education’. The event featured an in-depth exchange between the leadership of CUHK and the representatives from Thai universities. The aim was to enhance collaboration and share best practices in sustainable development among leading Asian universities, focusing on 5 key areas: campus facility management, education, research, student engagement and partnering with businesses. Participants engaged in discussions, sharing and exchange sessions and campus tours.
