In celebration of ‘Earth Day 2019’ (April 22), SDSN Youth Hong Kong launches the ‘SDG422Challenge’ to deepen public understanding of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2015, world leaders agreed to set the world on a path towards sustainable development through the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This agenda includes 17 SDGs to address global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, prosperity and peace — all to be achieved by 2030.
How to join?- Choose your SDG of interest
- Post a relevant photo on Facebook/Instagram, hashtag #SDG422Challenge #SDSNYouthHongKong
Examples: Workouts and exercises (Goal 3: Good health and well-being); participate in tree-planting (Goal 15: Life on land) - Tag three friends to invite them to join the challenge
*Special prizes (tote bags of the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change) will go to the 10 best submissions (Note: The status of the post must be set as ‘public’ in order to enter the competition)
