Brief Description

The talk ‘China's Road to Carbon Neutrality’ examines the transformations necessary for China to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, focusing on the development of energy laws and regulations that support decarbonization strategies. It also analyzes China's journey in addressing carbon emissions, highlighting how rapid economic growth initially increased greenhouse gas emissions, which were later brought under control significantly reduced.

This talk is highly relevant to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular, SDG 7 (Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry Innovation Infrastructure), SDG 13 (Climate Action).

The forum will be conducted in English; all are welcome.
