The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), in collaboration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN SDSN) and the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), is launching the Early Career Researcher (ECR) International Network Development Program, a series of virtual workshops focusing on UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Program is specifically designed for ECRs (final-year PhD students and those who received their PhD degrees within five years) who are interested in establishing connections and exploring research opportunities with peers from around their world. Each workshop will feature an internationally-distinguished speaker and breakout meetings for ECRs who will meet and discuss specific areas of interest with a view to cultivating ties and identifying potential collaborations.
An inaugural event for the Program will be held featuring guest speaker Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, President of the UN SDSN, and an information session on the Program and future activities. All members from WUN universities, including CUHK, are welcome.
