The Africa Lab Sustainable Condition Symposium aims to connect like-minded academics, professionals, and business people through community sustainable projects. This two-day event will explore sustainability in Africa through various lenses, including social, cultural, environmental, health, public, and educational perspectives. Participants will present existing and potential projects, emphasising ideas that challenge our notion of sustainability, focusing on how design can facilitate more sustainable living by considering resources, traditions, authenticity, community, and human energy.
The symposium is co-organized by CUHK School of Architecture, CUHK Institute of Environment, Energy and Sustainability (IEES), CUHK Africa Lab, School of Architecture (SOA), and CUHK Condition_Lab.
